Coming from XXVs, now supreme or vapor?

I have a pair of XXVs in 11.5 EE, and it's time for an upgrade. I was originally going to go for the X7.0s in 11.5 EE also, but it seems they've gotten more narrow. If I'm not able to try them on in an LHS, should I get the X7.0s or One100s?

Specs:

6'3" 210 lbs

medium arch, wide forefoot and heel

competitive high school hockey

Tough call; if your XXVs in a EE width fit well, then going to the X 7.0s in EE should work as well; after some break-in time obviously. If the EE in the XXV was just right, then you might notice that the EE in the One100 would be a bit wide.

'Wide' is all relative though.

I prefer a tapered fit, but as usual it's going to be preference.

I have a very wide forefoot and I use a 10EE One 100. I t is very much wider than last year's Vapor line. I tried an X60 in 10EE and it was still too narrow. The One 100s in EE have a huge toebox, I love them, but if your current skate fits the vapor(old Bauer widths) series, then that will probably work better. In any event, you can not go wrong with Bauer in my opinion, great skates!
