strosedefence34 175 Report post Posted October 8, 2011 I have done some research over the past few days and did some searching and cannot find any answers helping my problem. Ok here is the back story I got fitted in a LHS a few years ago lets say about 3 or 4 years ago got some graf 301's size 10W. They felt great in the store and on the ice the first time they kind of hurt my feet I figured it was just part of the break in period. After about a year of some pain in my arches and searching on the site everyone said get super feet. Were I live there are no super feet dealers for the grey ones. So I tired some other insoles. The insoles with arch support killed my feet even worse the then stock graf insoles Fast forward I took two years off the game and I am back playing at least once a week and still the same issue. I went out and tried some different insoles and they again kill my feet even worse the the stock ones. Im starting to think this may not be an issue with my insoles and perhaps something else. I'm almost positive the skates fit right and are deep enough. I should add that as a kid I had one of my teammates fathers make me custom insoles which was also hurt more then the stock ones. Could I not be letting the insoles break in? Any suggestions on things I could try?
Chadd 916 Report post Posted October 8, 2011 the arch in the skate is taller than the arch of your foot. If you have the room, you can try putting the front half of another insole under the one you're using. Just cut it so that it doesn't go under your arch and it should relieve some of the discomfort. pizzakid13 5 Report post Posted October 13, 2011 i currently use shockdoctors which i really like. they have an arch bump in the right spot which feels much better than stock insoles and superfeet. are there any other brands that might have a bigger arch bump?
