total one reflex tounge

Hi guys sorry if this has been discussed before but i did search and couldnt find an answer.

So my question is can you flop the total one reflex tounge i have always skated with my tounges like this. I have tried puting the tounges under my shinpads but i just do not like the feel of it. i am worried that doing this may crease or damage the insert?

I wear them the same way... and had the insert removed and played 1/2 a season but never got used to it. I replaced them with a Pro Nash Sniper tongue.... way better....

I do on my other skates, but not with the TO. No need to.
