I was looking into some pants and they say they have fighting straps. What exactly are fighting straps and how do you use them?

Aren't fight straps on Authentic Jerseys? It's basically a strap where you tie down to the back of your pants so your jersey doesn't completely come off your body during a fight if you should happen to get into one.

My Tacks (652's) have fight strasps. Basically a loop on the outside of the back of the pants to tie down to.

I don't know what you'd tie down to if you didn't have those loops.

Here ye be...I got them at Sportchek...maybe it is an SMU for them that is different from regular ones. I didn't get the 452's becasue these had leg zippers and I thought that might make them easier to get on/off...becuase I put on my shin pads first.

Pro stock pants have tie-downs to hook the fight strap to. Off the top of my head, Tacklas and the old Bauer 5000 pant had them. It's usually a horizontal strip along the padded belt (so going by this picture, it would be right over where it says 652)

Actually, that is what I use the loop for...I just thought it was the tie down strap...Thanks JR.
