Easton Stick lie vs Bauer stick lie.

Recommended Posts

Any help you guys can give me would be great.

Currently i am useing an easton s17 LH Sakic 5.5 lie. I love that pattern and the lie seems to be pretty good for me but i need a new stick and i am seriously considering switching to a Bauer total one P92

But i am not sure if i should go with the Bauer Lie 6 or Lie 5??

Any thoughts? Are all stick company's LIE the same or could a 6 lie in one brand be like a 5 in another?

Also any thoughts on if an higher lie like a 6 is better for pulling off toe drags or is a 5 lie better for moves like that???

Ok thank you guys for any help you can give me.

From what I've heard, the lie 5 and lie 6 P92's are very close to each other. I have P92 replacement blades which come as a lie 6 and had problem transitioning from a Sakic. That's the most experience I've had with them. I've never actually held the two different lies next to each other.

Guy, keep posting inaccurate info and I will keep deleting it. I don't care how many times it is repeated, wrong is wrong.

I generally use a 5.5 lie Sakic, but I have used a few 6 lie P92's. I don't really notice a difference in the lie. If anything it's the minor difference in curve that throws me off.

bdh13 in your opinion what is the difference in the curve of the p92 and the sakic??

thanks

Side by side, the p92 is more of a toe/mid. To my eye the sakic is more of a mid.

I recently bought a lie 5 P92 total one from mybauer.com. I've used an SE16 Sakic and other P92 bauers ( lie 6) in the past. The lie 5 is perfect since I'm 5'8" and cut 2 inches off my sticks. The lie 5 is great just hard to find.
