Easton Stealth

odd question for everyone.... I'm looking to purchase the new Easton Stealth as a gift but I've run into a snag. My boyfriend currently uses an easton right handed stick with the Gaborik curve (which he loves). I can't seem to find any sites on line to tell me which curve in the stealth is comparable. Can anybody help??? I even tried contacting Easton direct but have not heard back from them.

ps.....all I really know about the stick he currently uses is that its a P8/mid/deep/neutral/5.5 lie/round/med length and 9/16".....

The Gaborik curve was renamed to Roy. You can find them every now and then, most on S19's. According to the Easton chart, it is only available on SE6 stick (http://site.hockeymonkey.com/images/charts/easton/Easton-Blade-Chart-2011-SR-INT.jpg). So, I think that means the S19 Roy are SMU's.

fyi smu = special make up, meaning it was specially made for a shop(s). it cant be found yet on the RS

I know you are probably looking for an RS but Hockey Monkey has this Curve on the S19 which is a great stick (Top of the line last year).

They have it in Right Hand and in either 85 or 100 Flex, look for the Roy Curve.

Agree, I personally don't feel a difference between the S19 and RS (In A Store) I can get a S19 for $150 at my LHS.

Metro Detroit, My buddy owns it, and luckily I don't pay full price for anything. When I saw what he paid for some of this stuff....

I would like to add that I am an Electrical Contractor and I wired his store....I provide a service for him and he provides one for me. We help each other out. He knows the in's and out's of my trade and I have learned a great deal about his.

Last night he let me take a Easton RS, ST, and S19 out on the ice. He said he wants to have a set of sample sticks for his "good" customers. It will cost him some money, but his customers spend more with him because of that service. I felt funny walking out with over 600.00 dollars in sticks.

Personally....I feel the RS is way to light.
