Easton EQ Pro gloves fit

Recommended Posts

I'm looking at getting a pair of EQ Pro gloves, but I'm a bit confused over what size I should get. I normally wear 13" gloves, but for the EQ Pros they are classified as junior gloves. Does anyone who has tried on or own these gloves comment on the fit? I have Warrior Franchise Narrow 13" and Bauer 4-Roll 13", how do the EQ Pro fit in comparison? Thanks!

I currently wear 13" Easton Airs and tried the EQ pro's on at a LHS. Tried on 13" ......Didn't notice a diference...Great gloves! currently online looking for the best price.

Thanks for the input! Have you tried on Bauer 4-rolls, or other 13" 4-roll gloves? How's the fit in comparison?

I like the Easton's better, They feel less restricitive. The S19 gloves feel amazing as well. Its hard to choose, I have had my Easton Air's for almost ten years and they fit like a good pair of pajamas...lol. Six years ago my wife purchased a pair of Bauer Vapor XXX pro model gloves for Christmas. Those are the closest I have ever had to my Eastons.

My bauer 4 rolls are probably my favorite gloves of all time, esp the newer ones seem to be a bit lighter. i dont like eastons gloves at all. they're always so stiff and have limited movement. the 4 rolls are a bit wide on me but thats just the "volume" fit style. i do also like warrior franchise glove for the volume fit.

EQ Pros are going to to be tighter in the hands than the 4-rolls, and 4-rolls have shorter fingers. I can fit into a 14" eq, but a 15" 4-roll is required to fit in the fingers, making the glove volume being massive.

Might just be me, but I have to size up in 4-rolls, which is one reason I was extremely turned off by them.

I have found that the last Epros fit differently, whether they are amde in China or Canada. The Canadian ones I can wear a 13", but in the Chinese made ones I'm a 14"(my normal size. The new EQ Pro seems to fit much better than the old retail E Pro and I would be a 14" in the EQ Pro, very nice glove compared to previous years.

Yes they are a stiff glove, but break in over time. It took many hours on the ice to break my Easton Airs in. Now they are great.

13" EQ pro gloves are a senior glove. Been wearing them for about a season. Usually wear 13" gloves and I found they were a little roomier than Easton's other ranges. (Due to the traditional 4 roll cut I guess).

Compared to the Bauer 4 rolls: I found the Bauer's to fit closer around the hand. They also have a shorter/more segmented cuff than the EQ's. The Easton's will be stiffer and take a little longer to wear in.

The palm on the Bauer 4-rolls was a little nicer; it seemed tighter (the Easton's seem to have a lot of palm if that makes any sense. Not sure if it is just the pair that I got).
