A skate can be baked as often as you like, with the previso that you accelerate its breakdown, and reduce its lifespan everytime you perform this. Most people who require constant baking usually have fit issues and most likely the wrong skate.

If the skate doesn't fit after 2 trips to the oven, you are in the wrong skate. If you were to buy a skate used that has been baked before you bought it, any more than two would start to cause duribility issues. The eyelets can rip out/overall boot stiffness can be ruined if you bake a skate too much.
