Tackla pants

looking for tackla pants for my son. For those in the know, what is the difference between a junior pant size of 180 (28-30inch waist) and an adult size 46 (29-30 inch waist)? He needs more length and not so much the waist

1. My son has the 9000 in size 180. While i can't comment on the comparison to size 46, they are still a little bit to long for my son who is 5'7". He will likely be wearing them till he is 5'9" or so. The waist I would say runs a little larger than stated as my son wears pants very loose (wear suspenders) and the draw string is pulled pretty much as tight as it can go. Jean size 30 or 32, worn loose as well.

I'm an adult who's 5'6" about 145 lbs and normally wear size 30 jeans and such. I wear an adult size 46 pair of Tackla 5000 pants I've had for years and I pull the belt and tie the laces pretty tight (not super tight but still tight) to get a comfortable feel around my waist, don't need suspenders at all. The length of them go to slightly above my knee (this is observed without shinguards on.
