Bauer XXX Lite RH

Recommended Posts

I have been scouring the internet for a senior Bauer XXX lite RH for years, and today I found one on ebay...Lindros 102flex not too much used. I was so excited to get it and drop it in the show it off thread. However, got outbid and am now heartbroken.

Does anyone know where these bad boys can still be found? Thanks

your best bet will be ebay...those things are few and far between in a decent condition in a senior size. I have one in my closet p106 100flex the blades starting to give some, but its hard to toss it haha. Probably was my favorite stick used to date.

If you livr in Canada they pop up at Sport Chek quite a bit. Usually Kronwall patterns.

PA resident, but will keep my eyes peeled if I go up North...do you know what the usual price range is when they pop up?

The XXX Lites at Chek aren't going to be the same as the original ones produced. These newer series ones are SMU and might have different construction materials/processes. It wouldn't feel the same. Any S17 stick in a Sakic/Hall pattern in a 'P3' designation is also an SMU.

Making them better or worse? I have often wondered why sport chek seemingly has an endless supply of these sticks. I am assuming the change in materials and construction makes them worse which is why they blow them out at 99.99 and 129.99 consistently.

From what I've heard, the balance and weight is worse. And it has more to do with bulk ordering them at low unit prices than lower quality.

They were old stock sold to Forzani. It happens often. They got one95's and S17's in not too long ago also. Recently they just got in a bunch of Kroniks and Hitmen for cheap also. I do believe they are the same as the original XXX lite, in an older thread JR confirmed it if I remember correctly.

Interesting, I remember that older thread but I don't remember the final verdict. I asked my manager about them a few months ago and that was the answer I got. He also said that they were indeed SMU, made and constructed specifically to Forzani specs. Not exactly sure what the specs are but I've been told that they were different. You're right about the other sticks though, the Black/White TPS R8s as well.

edit : found the thread, JR said they were real. I'm going to double check
