One95 stick

Recommended Posts

I believe the transition from Nike Bauer to Bauer happened in a year where the Bauer Supreme line was not updated. Therefore I think it is purely cosmetic and not substantial changes occurred between the Nike Bauer one95 and Bauer one95 at the retail level. Pro-stock is a completely different animal as they are made to specifications for players and each stick is typically very different.

actually, is there a major difference between the one90 and one95? I love the graphics with the swoosh and have a one95 shaft. the biggest differences pre-play i have noticed are weight and texture. it feels balanced well so the weight isn't a problem.

Except with the Bauer prostock codes, you can figure out pretty much what the stick is. In this case, it is a 102 flex one90 painted to look like a one95.

Thanks for not answering my question and only quoting something already posted.

You were basically asking: Is there a difference between a pro-stock One90 stick and a retail One95 shaft, right? If you don't post those said codes how do you us to help you exactly? And isn't it already obvious that they are different? Your question is kind of vague (or maybe I'm just very tired, either way I don't mean to sound like a smartass, sorry)

The top number is the player ID or whatever. The middle number is 102 for the flex and below that is a 'D' which according to the Bauer code thread means its a one90.

So my question is the same regarding any major differences between a one90 and a one95.

It wasn't that the line wasn't updated, the transition occured before the totalone was released so for a little while there were bauer branded One95's

What I meant by that is that each product line (Vapor and Supreme) are typically updated on a two years cycle and the nike-bauer to bauer occurred in the middle of the two year span therefore they sticks were just rebranded as the next iteration of the supreme line (TotalOne) had not yet been released.

There are no major differences between a one95 that is branded with the nike swoosh, and one that was produced without the NBH grapics.

There are subtle but noticeable differences between the one90 and the one95. The one95 is a little lighter, and has the powercore II foam inside the blade, which is one of the primary reasons the one95 is so well regarded. Some people think that particular blade construction offered the best puck feel/control of any to date. The graphics/finish on many one90's chipped of fairly quickly, which was improved on with the one95. This was mostly and aesthetic issue, but it also affected performance in that the corner tactile grip would chip off along with the graphics. The one90 is still a great stick though, very durable, lightweight, well balanced, and has good puck feel.
