Will a CCM V04 Cage fit on a Easton S17 helmet (Both Medium)? Can you use a different brand of cage on any helmet. My Mother had a great Idea to purchase my daughter a new helmet for Christmas. Well it does not fit well, but after trying it out at home my daughter loves the CCM V04 cage that came with the CCM V04 helmet. I took her out helmet shopping and she likes the S17 (Fit's great). Before I purchase it, is it OK to to do this? meaning install a CCM cage on a Easton helmet. I ask because she plays youth hockey and has referees. Just don't want to get in trouble. I ask because sometimes youth hockey has unique rules like this. I coach and cannot find anything. Thanks!
