Reebok/CCM fit question

Hey, I have a pair of CCM U+ Pro's and a pair of Reebok 9K's. They were given to me by a player, and I really like both skates. Both of them however, are narrow near the arch. After I skate for a night, my arch is sore. I am new to skate punching/stretching etc..., am wondering if this can be remedied? Thanks for the help!

The U+Pros were notorious for this, because the boot sort of tapered in to the footbed so you'd have people's feet sitting on the sides of the boot rather than in the footbed. I'm guessing this is your problem because your entire midfoot has collapsed into the footbed instead of resting on it. Have you tried some sort of insole to raise that part of the foot? Superfeet perhaps?

Alluding to the poster above, maybe trying the SIDAS custom footbeds which would support your arch more?

My problem is the skates are pretty tight fitting, bigger insoles would probably create issues, I am having them stretched right nw so hopefully this works, because I love the skates ( can't decide which ones I like better)

How can you love skates that hurt your feet , i dont understand.......

It sounds like "theGhost" likes his skates and they are probably performing well for him. It also sounds like they need a little tweak and he would be good to go.

This^ They are light and super comfy everywhere except that little area on the arch. I love the skates because I skate better in them than I have in any other skates I have owned. I have them being stretched right now so hopefully there will be a little more room near the arch and they will be perfect! Plus getting them for free makes them even better! LOL
