Shuvee - "clean & happy feet"

I read the skymall mag the other day, and I saw this Shuvee deodorizer, working with UV light, I'd like to use them for my skates, but I'm not sure if it will fit in and/or if it won't damage the inner boot since it's uv light...

I have no idea of what I'm talking about, I think I'm going to give it a shot, but if you guys have heard about/used it, do you have any comments to make?

I read in a review that one customer also used it for lacrosse gloves, really does seem interesting...

I was trying to get someone to build something like that for hockey gear three or four years ago. I think it's a great idea for skates, not sure how detrimental it might be if overused on some gear though.

Thank you for the tip, but that's not the same thing, nor is it the same mechanism, uv light really does sanitize/disinfect from bacteria hence dealing with the odor, this is just deodorant with a dryer...

The uv light thingy really is my main question mark, otherwise, most of the msh community advice bacteriawise is to apply 50/50 water & 70% isopropylic alcohol.

Anyways, I'll just purchase it and will let you know whether or not it works / causes any damage on the interior depending on the material used. gloves, skates and so on ^^

I could be wrong, but I thought guys were using 50/50 isopropyl and peroxide? No?
