noupf, the LHS that you purchased the skates from should be doing all the legwork to get your problem solved. They sold you the skates in the first place. Are you going to pay out of pocket to ship the skates back to Calgary? Any shop that makes the customer deal direct with the vendor is just lazy and really doesn't care about their customers.

As it stands now, i dont know what will happen, if anything. The skates are used and approaching a year since purchase. I am pretty pissed that I didnt notice these issues sooner, but i guess it shouldnt matter, right? Hopefully somebody does the right thing. I actually work in retail as a store manager ( large sporting goods chain no less......we do very little with hockey though ) and fully understand the concept of doing whats right for our customers. Its what keep them happy and keeps them coming back to your store.

Stilll waiting to hear back from graf...........

It can't be as bad as my Rbk 7K's my right skate had a Tuuk and the left had a CCM. I was not so happy when I brought them back to my LHS. I ended up getting 100.00 back and the left skate ended up getting a tuuk also for free.

UPDATE:

Heard back from Graf the other day ( 3 days after i emailed them my story and pictures ). Basicly they said that I had to have the retailer that i purchased them from contact their warranty department, but they did mention please dont think they were giving me the run around, its just how they deal with customer issues. So, I returned to the shop in which they were purhcased, I explained everything to the owner and and also showed him the two mis-matched blade holders. He didnt seem too thrilled that he had to go about contacting graf, but he took the skates and said he would call graf and get them shipped out to their warranty department today.

the wait continues...........

It was during Christmas and had to get other presents. The floor model was my size but they had more in the back. At least they took care of it for me for free and gave me back 100

This is why a LHS can fail. The motto has to be with the sale comes the service. It is the one thing a LHS can truly offer over the online seller. Sorry to hear this guy doesn't seem to get it.
