beerleaguecaptain 1004 Report post Posted February 9, 2012 Just got a pair of custom warrior franchise pants and played my first game tonight. There are a few things I wasn't thrilled with and I'm thinking about making a couple of mods.The first is easy. I cut out the six pack belly protector. It was huge... no brainer there.The second mod is more significant. I didn't love the single, molded thigh pad. I prefer the split thigh like my Bauer pants had. I can access the pad and remove it so I am thinking about cutting it into two pieces. What is your opinion on this. Thanks guys... let's hear your thoughts. stuie7 6 Report post Posted February 9, 2012 I've never opened my Bauer pants so this is a bit of stab in the dark.. isn't there an overlap between the two pieces? by cutting them in half you're going to struggle to make them overlap in the same way; in fact I think it'll be different to keep them in place period. I own a pair of hustlers as well and I personally didn't find the 1 piece thigh an issue since they have wide legs. I would try them a few more times before making the decision to do the mod.
