Whats the Bauer Getzlaf/Lidstrom curve?

Recommended Posts

I use Easton Sticks, but I've had a real bad run with them lately in terms of durability. Does Bauer Make a curve that is similar to the Easton Getzlaf Lidstrom curve??

Its says that the P02 curve is a 7 lie. The Getzlaf Pronger is a 5.5

P02 Kronwall/Kesler. However, I think it is a European retail only curve or you have to custom order a stick from MyBauer.

P02 Kronwall

The Bauer scale for lie has always been a little "off" on certain patterns. I believe it is how the measure it and the rocker of the pattern. Every company measures it a bit differntly...

I have owned P02 Bauer sticks before and can assure you they play at the same lie as Easton Lidstrom/Getzlaf.

As mentioned, P02 is rarely found on retail sticks. Some companies carry them as SMU's or on LE sticks (I believe the old X:60 LE and old TotalOne LE had P02 available). For a pure retail curve you can walk into your LHS and buy - Bauer does not have anything close. The P91A or P106 would be your only options and both have drastic differences.

If you're not stuck on Bauer as the only go to choice Warrior offers the Lidstrom curve in both OPS and blades. CCM Burns I think may also be a clone, as well as Miken, Revision and a couple of other smaller companies offering clones.
