Toe Damage

Recommended Posts

I have a couple sticks that have gotten a little work in the corners and thus have s0me toe damage. One is in the early stages and a couple blades are needing help.

Coating the area with superglue has been my immediate fix. Will multiple coats of superglue last with potential water or is there a better way?

I would go with a heavier two part epoxy. You should be able to find some for roughly the same price as the superglue.

i agree with the two part epoxy. you can get some with really good water and cold tolerances at your local hardware store. make sure the epoxy you get is for composite materials. Its pretty easy to work with, and you can sand away any overcoating. also make sure you allow it to fully cure prior to using the stick.
