Shock doctor 280 ultra bio

Any info or reviews on this compression jock? I've hurt my groin so looking at getting some compression shorts and like this model due to it have a built in garter. There's not too much info ( that I've found ) except most people don't like compression shorts with the built in cup.

Should I give this a shot or just buy compression shorts and a separate jock/garter?

Personally, I think it is great. This is the first piece of hockey equipment I have raved about. It does hold a lot of moisture though. Out of all the compressions shorts, it is my favorite because of the the comfortable fit and the built-in garter.

I have since switched to Shock Doctor's 273 garter belt with cup supporter because I find it to be more mobile for me.

Either are great choices if you like the fit of the shockdoctor cup.

How was the cup in the 280s? That's the thing I cant find out. Lots of other compression short reviews complain about the cup not fitting right, floating around.

I looked up the 273 and it doesn't have compression shorts.

I'm also open to other brands I just liked the 280 because it had the garter built in.

Like I said, I thought the compression cup and shorts fit great for ME. I don't know how they are going to work for you and can't predict that. The cup is very protective but flexes a little and is soft around the contact edges. That was a big selling point for me as well as the garter as opposed to velcro. I previously had two itech jocks and didn't like the way they fit.

I currently wear ua compression pants because they are lighter and more breathable, and then wear the 273 over it.

You have to make an educated guess because only you know what is comfortable for your junk while you play hockey.
