That's an interesting perspective. I can accept teams playing collapsing defenses as long as they give the offense the ability to skate -- in other words, not grabbing and hooking anyone near the net -- because I know it takes an incredible amount of courage and sacrifice to block shots. As a fan of sports, while I like scoring as much as the next guy, I can appreciate the will to win which is evident in these defensive systems.

Look at the injuries the Rangers have had over the last few seasons. That type of system makes it hard to stay healthy long enough to win the cup.
