Skate problems! HELP!

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to get one questions answered regarding the skates that I am going to order through my team. I want to customize a pair of Bauer APX skates but i don't know what the custom tongues look like. I loved my X60's and I really want to get the same tongues as the 60's just in white put on my APX's when I order them. I was wondering is it even possible to do that ? if so what are the tongues called? Another snag I'm running into is the size factor. I ordered a pair of APX's last year that were size 9.5 D and they were too big. Ive tried the size 9 D on and my toes are just touching, after i get them moulded and broken in will my foot slide back a bit creating more room? or do you think I should order a size 9.25 D (9 and a quarter) let me know what you think and if you can shine any light on the skate troubles I'm having...

Thanks A lot

X:60 Standard tongue, in white.

"Just touching" is good

I've been wearing my size 9.5 d X60's... so you think that a size 9 would be good in the apx?

Just touching is the ideal fit for a pair of skates. So your size is set. I think the X60 tongue is called the Form-Fit tongue

do you think it will stretch out a bit after i get them moulded ? also if a bit to small isn't there a way to get the boot streched ?
