Graf Skates Experience with Ultra G35

When I went from Vapors to G35's, the boots felt lower cut and had more flex. I used to skip 1-2 eyelets in Bauer but none with the Grafs. I went from about a 7.5 in Bauer to 8 in Graf and I believe others have had to move up in size slightly.

I've been more of ankle skater but have been trying to use more hip and leg action so I've had to incorporate a lock lacing. This really gets the boots to feel snug and tight around the ankles. So it's possible to regain some of that stiffness with lacing techniques.

Jarick Are the G35s soft around the ankle allowing for a little lateral flex. Or is the boot completely stiff as I imagine it to be
