It doesn't really matter. You can nit-pick on materials and stuff between the two but feel is going to be the difference you'll want to go with.

Is there a particular reason its come down to choosing between these two in particular?

I seem to recall the Vapour range being a lot more light-weight compared to the Supreme line. I guess if thats the case there comes a point where you're choosing between protection and mobility, though its possible at that level its a moot issue.
