is the helmet or my head? Bauer 4500

I have two of these, one red and one black. I have the same experience on both. the cage doesn't line up between the two screws at the top/middle. right above your eyes.

Then the clips on the side, one side of the cage fits perfectly, but the other doesn't go in the clip all the way. I push it up and then it's a little crooked. I've tried everything I know. Seems petty, but driving me crazy.

Same. It was a combo
