Bauer Vapor vs Supreme

Recommended Posts

Wearing 1 year old bauer x60 skates , play / practice 3 times week and the bauer x60s still are uncomfortable. I was measured 2-3 times and size correct but just feels to slim in the front and I feel I am skating alittle too upright . Thinking of buying the NXGs , I tried them on and they feel better then the 60s broken in. anyone have any information on skating feel between them, foward or upright differences.

I too tried the NXG having the X60 issues as you. I tried a EE and was in love. Dont buy into the hype of skating style. Its move of a fit from what I have talked to the bauer guys but I could be wrong

The Vapor's will have more of a forward pitch. I believe Supreme's are either neutral or even back one. This can always be changed by profiling the skate blade or a heel lift.

If by too slim you mean the forefoot is too narrow, the supreme line will solve that problem. I agree with XveritasX, my One.9s made me feel like I was leaning on my heals but I fixed it with a heal lift. I have fit better into the Supremes because the heal feels narrower to me. Also, just out of curiosity, what size skate do you have and what size shoe are you. Where I live, eveyone is going way smaller than what most other people think is normal and I have noticed a difference in my skating ability because of it.
