Reebok sickick III 11k flex vs Ai9 vs Bauer supreme flex

I have a sickick 11k with 75 flex that I cut down to where the stick says 78 flex. I've read that sickick feels stiffer than other sticks at same rating.

Question is if I was to get an reebok ai9 or Bauer supreme total one (on clearance) should I stay with 75 flex or go up to 85.

depends. a low kick stick feels stiffer because the loading happens near the bottom where it's not as noticeable, whereas with an ai9 or supreme you will feel the loading much more since its closer to your hands.

i personally like to feel my stick load so i stick to a 77 flex supreme when i can. if you don't like the 'lag' or 'delay' other people gripe about than go for an 85/87 flex. neither will feel like a 75 flex low kick though so be warned.

Ok. I thought I had read that reebok in general ai or sickick both play stiffer than other brands. Guess I will have to experiment. My 75 cut down sickick feels pretty stiff so maybe a 75 ai would be a good start to get a good feel for the flex.
