Chadd 916 Report post Posted October 4, 2012 I agree, if you take out the players who aren't afriad to drop the gloves when duty calls, the amount of Sean Avery's and Daniel Carcillo's are going to sky rocketIt already has gone through the roof. If I knew Matt Cooke is going to drill every player possible, but cleanly, I would still hate him, but not wish him bodily harm. In the NHL physical intimidation is an important tactic, seeing if a guy is really going to play, or cower when he is hit. I think that is something that will always be present at that level.
