How many sessions do you do before getting your skates sharpened?

Roughly what is the optimally recommended frequency for skate sharpenings?

I used to go pretty long stretches without getting my skates sharpened (like, a dozen games, once or twice a season, etc.). Luckily, I just found out that I can get unlimited free sharpenings so that's going to change.
