CCM 1899 Shoulders

Anyone use these yet and have any comments/complaints on them? I'm thinking of trying them out since they're cheap and don't seem to look to bad. I've used the Sherwood Tradition's in the past as well as the Bauer Classics (both similar styles) and didn't have any problems with them.

I'll be adding a little extra padding under the chest section so the padding isn't really much of an issue for me. I'm more concerned with durability and how they fit since the sizes seem to be kind of weird at M/L and L/XL.

Bump, just came across these today seemed very nice more chest protection than the Sherwoods and more mobile arms and shoulders.

Anyone have experience with these?

I picked these shoulders up after Christmas and i love them. My uncle also wears these. His only complaint about them is that they are hot if you are not used to wearing any shoulders. I came from a set of Easton low end models in size L and wont be going back. I'm 5-11 and 210lbs and the M/L fits me perfect. Seems like I have nothing on and seem cooler to me then my old shoulders. I noticed at the end of a skate they are relatively still dry. Ive taken quite a few bumps playing in a private dropin with this and I don't even notice it. The chest and back padding is pretty think actually. I would say each roll is about an inch think of firm padding. I highly recommend these if you are looking for a light shoulder that is protective and feels like nothing is there for the casual beer leaguer/drop in player

Yeah I like that the chest had lots of protection compared to the Sherwood's.

I think I'll pick the up.
