Nexus 1000 stick right fit?

As of recent I've been using a stealth rs it was great and did a good enough job, but it didn't really fit my corner digging, playmaking, distant shot playing style. My previous stick was an eq50 which was a bit better of a fit I enjoyed the bit better puck control I had with it, and I know the makos the new installment but I'm a bit of a gear head and want to try out the new thing and maybe it'd be a better fit. Will the nexus give me the out of range shots with puck control? Any opinions on the nexus? Any other suggestions?

I don't understand what you mean by "out of range shots with puck control". A shot is a shot, regardless of where the shot takes place.
