Bauer APX tuuk Replacement

Hey Guys,

I have the Bauer APX skate size 8, I have to replace my tuuks, because I took a shot that broke the side and blade will not longer stay in the holder. I was wondering if any one know what the largest size holder I could still fit on my skate. I know the default is the 272mm blade/holder but can I go any bigger?

You can go one up, however, you are much better off just keeping the 272 on there and getting LS 2.1 steel for that additional length. It'll make it 280.

Wouldn't I be able to do both? get the LS 2.1 and the larger runner? or do you not recommend that?

You could, but the reason why I don't recommend it is because a lot of the holes are going to be very close to each other, and a lot bad can go wrong if the person is incompetent.
