Nexus 1000 stick question

Where do you find it flexes? I have a 75 flex cut down to measure about 56 inches. The first two times I had it out it Felt great. Shots flying off.

For slappers I move my bottom hand down to where the BAUER stops. Maybe about 12-18 inches from the blade. Just seeing of I'm moving my bottom hand down too far below the flex point.

I have the same setup as you with the Nexus (flex and length). I realize shooting has a lot of personal preference involved, but it sounds like you are holding the stick REALLY far down. I would suggest, especially on a mid-kick stick like the Nexus, staying around the middle of the shaft with your bottom hand, maybe a touch lower depending on how you feel the shots are coming off. I think I usually end up with my bottom hand right around where the Bauer logo starts, give or take. However, I'll take a half-slapper higher up than that if I'm rushed, depends of the situation, and the stick kicks well there too. BUT the bottom of the Bauer logo seems much too far. Again, a lot of it is tough to say and depends on how you shoot.

We're talkin about the same place. I have my hand about where the Bauer logo starts. Not stops. So one end of the logo is near the blade, other toward the butt end. I hold it where the logo starts, butt end side.
