Skates - What is Bauer's Custom 1 Stiffness Equivalent to?

I might have scraped enough money together for some customs.

Would it be comparable to the stiffness of a 703 retail? That's pretty much what I'm looking for.

Retail won't cut it purely for fit reasons (see my thread re: AAA heels w/ an E/EE forefoot).

Another question would be whether the stiffness ratings are constant throughout the different lines - i.e. would a 1 stiffness Nexus 1000 be softer than a 1 stiffness NXG/APX 2? Thanks.

It's the amount of stiffener material they put in the skate - not so sure I can compare it to a retail 703. Yes, a 1 Nexus would be softer than the 1 NXG.
