40oz2freedom28 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2013 Hey guys, as of right now I'm a bit indecisive of what I should do with my stick flex. I'm 5'6 155lbs currently using an Intermediate Nexus 1000 cut down to about a 75 flex which is a bit short for me on skates. I've tried the Senior 77 flex but even if I cut it to my chin on skates I'm looking at about a 90 flex. I was thinking about getting the Total One in the 75 flex Intermediate which I wouldn't have to cut but we'll see. I'm more quick offensive minded so my game is based on snap and wrist shots, not a big guy that rips clappers. Open to your guys suggestions and comments. Thanks
Chadd 916 Report post Posted March 4, 2013 I take a lot of wristers and snappers and prefer the flex profile of the Supreme series. Don't get too caught up in the marketing.
x-axis 44 Report post Posted March 4, 2013 I would also consider an intermediate Warrior 70 flex or the Reebok 75 flexes because they start at 58." I'm basically your size and weight but 5'8".Out of curiosity, how long is your stick from heel to end to be 75 flex on the Nexus?
Speedz98 15 Report post Posted March 4, 2013 You might want to give Easton a try. Bauer sticks stiff up really fast when you cut them down, Easton Seniors usually need to be cut down an inch or two just to get to the specified Flex.
