Going from senior to intermediate stick......

I mainly use a dynasty ax1 75 flex cut about 4 inches or so off. I think I'm barely able to take advantage of the flex. I'm 195 but still don't think I can transfer my weight like I should. Thinking about experimenting with int stick. Would it make a difference to go with a 70 flex warrior or should I go to 55? I'd still have to cut it. Other options may be an apx or nexus in 67 flex which I don't think id have to cut

So your cut 75 flex at -4 inches is closer to 80ish flex..

How much would you cut the Int stick. if you cut various Int sticks around 2 inches your looking at at 67 being closer to 70 and 70 closer to 75. It all depends on the design of the stick.

So it comes down to how much more flex are you willing to try.

I would check out the sticks in person. I have a 70 flex Dolo shaft (different than OPS, I know) but with a 4" plug in the end and a blade, it's close, if not stiffer than the 85 DT2 that you're familiar with mjpisat.

If you can find a first gen Dynasty, I would try that at 70 flex. It plays a little softer than 70 and it might be what you're looking for!
