Best mask for young goalie

Hi I've been doing some research but not finding the definitive answer I'm looking for. I'm looking at replacing my sons itech 1400 youth mask as its getting small on him now. I know it's not, the most protective mask but as he's still only 7 has done him well for now. Also next season he will be playing up to under 12's so I want him in something with a greater level of protection. Living in the UK I'm unable to actually try things on which is a bit of a problem. Any guidance would be of huge help.

For smaller heads the Eddy Tusk is a great way to go. Sportmask makes a youth sized Ricochet as well.

I concur, they are heavy though. And if you get it painted by a non Hackva certified painter your warranty is gone.

I picked him up a hackva last week. He'll be using it tomorrow on the ice for the first time.

This mask is for a 7yo. Not many 7yo parents dish out $300-500 on a paintjob. Not that there is anything wrong with that if you are loooooaded, but generally it's a waste of money as the kid will outgrow the mask fairly fast.

I found Gabe from Hackva mask extremely helpful and would highly recommend his masks for anyone needing a new mask. I emailed him photos of my sons head and face and gave him hi measurements as well. Based on this info he recommended a senior small and it fits him perfectly. Have a very happy son.
