black hills tj 5 Report post Posted July 8, 2013 I just picked up a pair of Bauer Vapor Pro series gloves. I was wondering if these are the same gloves as an X Pro/X60 Pro. I can provide pictures if needed. The thumbs say"Vapor Pro Series"Ive seen some that are marked -X60 Pro- so I just wasnt sure if this was a design change from one year to the next or if the gloves are actually different. Thanks! t6lock 24 Report post Posted July 8, 2013 they are not the same. they come out each year with their respective lines usually a little cheaper than the top tier glove. heres another small threadhttp://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index.php/topic/63683-has-anyone-tried-the-bauer-vapor-pro-series-gloves/I have the same question.Heres what I came up with so far: the Pro Series has a two-piece index-finger and a two piece flex-thumb whereas the APX Pro has three pieces there. The Nylon exterior will propably be more durable on the APX Pros as well
black hills tj 5 Report post Posted July 8, 2013 Thanks for the link. For 30 bucks shipped and only being worn a handful of times, I think theyll do just fine ;)

TeamHonda401 54 Report post Posted July 9, 2013 When the Xpro came out it was between the x:40 and the x:60. No triple break index finger as stated above, different palm and different outer material compared to the x:60. The current model is identical to the Xpro with the only difference being the shape of the backhand pads. The pic above is the Xpro, not the current model which is called the Vapor pro if I recall correctly.
