Loose Ice Pants

Recommended Posts

I have a pair of Easton ice pants that are a little too big in the waist. Im a 32-33 and they are for a 32-34 so they should be fine. I cinch up the belt and tie the laces as tight as possible and they still shift a little during play. Any suggestions?

Suspenders, tie a rope tightly around your waist outside the pants, get smaller pants, or have more beer and pizza.

That's a major kludge, something I'd do for a robe or any other garment. I've never tried it on hockey pants, but I would expect it to work. It's just another belt, and it can be cinched tighter than any built-in belt that has a limit to its tightness.

I'm not sure what you mean by "suspender hooks"; the suspenders attach to the buttons on the pants.

As for the rope trick, is it as simple as it sounds: just tie something around your waist?

It is as simple as that. I had that "problem" with my CCM V08 pants and I just used a skate lace around my waist. It worked. And it makes you look like Ovi. Haha just kidding.
