Warrior kovalchuk curve

How is this going to play compared to the zetterberg/88 kopitar/92 or chara/14

Is the rocker same as any of these? Looks to be the same lie as chara and zetterberg.

a lil bit more rockered than zetterberg with slightly higher lie.

Ummm... I have to disagree. I have both of these in Warrior Widows and I would say exactly the opposite, one caveat being, I may have gotten a lower lie in the Kovi as you, as I think there are lie options. That being said, these are the differences to me and believe me, I have overanalyzed them to death.

Kovalchuk - lie 4. not much rocker. not much loft

Zetterberg - lie 5. a bit more rocker. a bit more loft

I personally like the way the Kovy shoots. The Zetterberg tended to get up on me too much when I first started using it and it fluttered too. That being said, the low lie on the Kovy and the lack of rocker made me feel hamstrung when receiving passes and when stick handling. So, I moved to the Zetterberg gradually. It is now my primary, although I go back to the Kovy on occasion. My shot has adapted to the Zetterberg and I can pretty much put it where I want to now. It doesn't go high on me anymore and doesn't flutter. Took several weeks for me to really get used to it though.

The greater rocker on the Zetterberg is the primary reason I stick with it (pardon the pun).

Hope this helps.

Steve

The other thing is that I really didn't like the lower lie on the Kovy. As I said though, I think there are different lie options for it and a lie 5 might be different.

I just started using a kovalchuk curve after using p92 for a long time. Although i had the lie 4, they are verry similar with a few small differences. The kovi blade had a lot less rocker, pretty flat. The p92 has way more rocker than the kovalchuk, and is much more open. Whereas the kovi is very closed and has a smaller overall profile. But, they are both medium length and depth mid-curves. It was the best option for me when when tryig to find a lower lie stick but with something that was still as close to th p92 as i could find.

The others not so sure but probably the 88 has a little more rocker but less than the p92 but plays lower like the kovalchuk. That's just a guess though.
