Need Help ID-ing these CCM Pro Pants

Recommended Posts

They look a lot like my Reebok 1053 pants, which are a lot like my CCM 520 pants. Considering that there are small variations in pants details, within the same model number, these should be about what you'd expect in a 520, even if the model number is a bit different. As long as shipping isn't prohibitive, it's definitely a good deal.

Luckly it's local so I can pick it up. I'm guessing they're a bit on the bulky side? The actual model number is an HP30.

They look like 520s with the stretch areas on the hip/thigh area.

Ya you're right, I had a look at that, there are some minor differences. Have you heard of these HP30's? Seems like a lot of OHL teams use them.

Edit: Thanks gentleman

They are either HP30 or HP35. CCM rolled them out this past year.

Ya owner got back to me saying they're HP30's. Can't seem to find any reviews on them however. Are you familiar with these at all?

"Bulky" is relative, and the lighter and thinner they get, the less protection you've got. I'm no expert, but I wouldn't expect pants designed for the pros to be too short on protection. I don't recall anyone complaining about mobility, but if you're looking for the lightest pants out there, you may not want to be starting with pro stock.

From the few pictures I've seen of HP30 pants, my impression has not changed. They're enough like 520/1052/1053 that they seem like the same basic model to me.
