Helmet question/ issue

Looked for an answer to this, but searched and found nothing...

Recently had to retire my Mission Intake, as it had developed two cracks in it. Loved it dearly, but obviously needed a new one. It was a gift, and with 2 small kids, cannot justify paying $150 or more for a top end helmet.

Found a RBK 4K on sale that fit well, was light, and fit my visor. I have worn it 10 times or so and have no issues with how it fits, but I feel like I am wearing an oven on my head. I am sweating buckets, which is affecting my visor, and just makes things uncomfortable as I am wiping sweat off my face all the time.

Never had this issue before with any helmet I had. Am I missing something or is this normal, and if so, is there a way to fix it completely or at least make it bearable???

Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions would be appreciated....

CCM Vector 10 seems like a good choice for that price as well. Comes down to VN or EPP foam preference.
