Referee equipment/pants

I'm just getting in to reffing and dont have a lot of money right now, is there any substitute for the ref pants that cost like 65$. I've seen people talk about dress pants thoughts?

Scour your local craigslist and kijiji ads for used pants and shirts. They're often for sale around this time and you can find pants and shirts in good condition for less than half the retail cost. Getting used referee pants will be better than using dress pants as they'll be more durable in the long run.

I would use pants from something like this before I used dress pants.

What about like dickies pants, the question I'm more asking is am I gonna get yelled at for it, it would just be until I got paid enough to by pants. I know they said you can use nylon warm ups but I don't have any and my parents will pay for it if I get it from target, target doesn't have warmup pants which I found kinda odd,

So yes or no on dickies loose fit double knee pants?
