Just ordered a Bauer IMS 7.0 in custom colour

Old Gold with Purple vents!!! I am not on a team, nor do I intend to be on one any time in the future. If somehow I join a team, I s'pose I could get a black pinney for my helmet if I get on a team before the certification expires. This helmet seems to have adapted a fair bit of bicycle helmet tech (not a terrible thing for safety or keeping cool, and after seeing a well-represented colour sample of the Old Gold (Cascade has been offering this colour for a fairly long amount of time), it looks like my type of helmet. I have always said I wanted a gold helmet!!!!

I have also designed a fictitious team crest; I hope to get it made into a usable design for a team crest patch. If I ever put together a team, this will become a real team crest. The fictitious team name? the Raging Rabbits of Rapid City!!!! bwahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! And the team helmet colour would be...?!?!? Old Gold shell with whatever colour vents the team member would choose!!!!!

congrats, but does this really merit a new topic being created? Guess you could have just posted under the topic about helmets you started 9 hours before this one under "Pro stock helmets" or in the "Show it Off" topic.

Sure it does! I wanted an opinion on Pro stock, determined that I wanted nothing to do with that, and it isn't here so I can't show it off yet. Just posting my anticipation and excitement, which is totally different than asking about pro stock helmets.

btw- if anyone has ordered from Bauer/Cascade, is the custom helmet drop shipped or does it go to the dealer first, then to the end customer?

Just did her maiden voyage. Nice opening for the face, not bad in weight, feels nice and ventilated when I move. One word of warning- if you are on the smallish side of large, buy a medium. I used sizing pads to snug her up a bit.
