simnorm 2 Report post Posted October 30, 2013 Has anyone ever seen Bauer Vapors with such a fold in the skate liner?pic1pic2These are brand new Vapor x:60, top of the line model from a few years ago. (new old stock)I noticed this after my 2nd skate with them, I can't really feel the fold on my heel, when wearing the skate. It looks like the liner came loose from the boot and is glued to itself.4 games in now and it is not getting worse but I'm concerned still. These are my first skates that don't have a clarino liner.I'm thinking about getting this looked at by my LHS but I'm pretty sure the kids there will be clueless. Davetronz 109 Report post Posted October 30, 2013 Yeah, I've seen it before, where there's too much liner and it comes loose and becomes "rolled". Makes skating a bit uncomfortable.I'd take them back and see if it's considered a manufacturer's defect if it bugs you. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
simnorm 2 Report post Posted October 30, 2013 I just came back from my LHS.The shop guy used a heatgun on the liner to soften up the glue and remove the fold. He said to bring it back if the problem comes back and then he would see with Bauer. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
