Backyard rink liner repair in below freezing weather

I was getting ready to flood my rink when I noticed a small hole in the liner. The temperatures here have taken a plung to high's in the single digits. Any ideas on how to repair this given these temperatures?

You might try an inner tube repair patch. If you bring the patch outside and warm the torn area with a heat gun, it could work.

aerosol expanding foam insulation. Stick the tube thru the hole & pull the trigger. And/or waterproof asphalt roof tar from a caulk tube applied to a plastic patch.

Nicerink sells repair tape. You can likely find something similar at the hardware store. Try to find something white.
