Are Tackla 9000's Still Lightweight by Today's Standards?

I want a pair of pants that will last until I quit playing but I also want a lightweight pant. 9000's were the gold standard for both when I was younger, but how do they stack up to say, CCMCL's? Thanks.

EDIT: No one near me stocks Tackla's anymore, so I can't see for myself.

Not really. They're certainly in line with most other pants that offer the same level of protection, but most of the really lightweight pants reduce the padding a bit to save weight.
