Anyone have luck with a Stealthesis?

I know not many people have the stick, let alone broken one, but has anyone had luck with putting a tapered blade in a stealth shaft? I remember in the old post with pictures of one with a si-core blade, but i dont know if it was successful or not in terms of performance/durability. That flare at the bottom of the shaft is whats worrying me and I dont want to buy that one off Shorthanded67 if I cant even use it. And no I dont want to flip it over to use a standard blade, but will consider cutting higher from the bottom.

i havent broken a stealth yet but due to the tapered butt end it looks like a tapered blade would work in it... ive got a synthesis blade so sometime soon when im bored ill try to put it in the butt end...

Sort of off topic but I crossed checked somebody and my stealth broke towards the butt end so its pretty useless now :( That SL that Marcelo is selling is pretty tempting...

i made one, after my dad broke his stelth. I put a silver sinthesis and its amazing. I'll put a picture later on today.

mndgame, could you possibly put a huge plug in your stick where it broke off? like saw off the jagged part and then put in a plug, or is the stick broken too low ?

It takes tapered blades as that is a synthesis. The buttend is tapered o it would fit a synthesis. I'm sure he cut it.
