9k Shell

Sorry if this has been asked before but I did not see it on a search. This is a question for everyone that is using 9k shells, how do you attach them to the girdle that is not a 9k girdle. I am currently using a total one and tried to hook the loops around the belt not he girdle but did not line up correct and sat odd. I have heard of people having loops sewn in is this true?

You could attach loops to the girdle, or run a belt through the loops of the shelll.
