When it comes to a high end Bauer OPS, which did you go for, why & what are your thoughts?

I find that Bauer's marketing department are doing a great job at promoting 3 high end sticks that all serve a different purpose however I'd like to know how much of what I'm reading is true.

In my opinion it really comes down to your personal preference of kick points and style of play. I ultimately chose the NXG because I take a few slappers every game and take extra time to load my wristers regardless of which stick I use. And for me I can get more on them with the NXG.

I felt like I only got the low kick out of the APX (maybe cause I cut it ?) and my slap shots were never great.

I also prefer the more square shape of the NXG.

Thanks Ryan,

In your opinion, how noticeable was the mid kick compared to low kick? Do you shoot more from the toe with a quick release or do you take more time and put more into your wrist shot?

I think the kickpoint descriptions are inaccurate and misleading. They do a great job of marketing, but marketing doesn't mean factual or true.

i def notice a difference between the low vs mid kick in these two sticks. and i tend to take more time and lean into my wrist shot.

i would agree in regards to the high kick on the APX and the Kick on the Nexus. But to me the APX is def a low kick and the NXG is a mid kick. That being said each person needs to use what works for them, not what the marketing dept. try's to get them to believe.
