removing stuck blade

i was shaving down and puttin in a new blade for my flyweight, when i tried putting the blade in it got 3/4 in and got stuck. now i cant move it in or out. helpp plz

Take out the buttend, heat up the shaft and push a curtain rod down and pop it out that way.

Either heat it up more and get someone to pull on the other end...or heat it up more and bash it on a carpet in the garage or sumthing.

Dont heat it up too much and really yank on it hard or you mite change the shape of the end. I saw do the curtain rod thing, or make sure you heat it up enough to pull it out smoothly.

ill try the curtain rod thing. i already tried tag teaming it. ive heated it up ALOT and im afraid to go further and hurt my one true love ;)

Step on the blade and pull up on the shaft.

Ask someone to help you so you don't hurt the shaft. I've shaved down blades before to put into my flyweight and you have to be really careful to not 'bulge' out the tapered portion down there. I think one reason I broke my 10-7 Fly at the taper part was because I had used a shaved down blade that probably wasn't shaved quite enough and it weakened the shaft. These days I'll only use R2s in my other Fly.

Where I work we usually just put the blade hosel in a vice on a workbench and put one foot on the work bench to get leverage and pull. It works everytime for me.
