removing stuck blade

Dont heat it up too much and really yank on it hard or you mite change the shape of the end. I saw do the curtain rod thing, or make sure you heat it up enough to pull it out smoothly.

Ask someone to help you so you don't hurt the shaft. I've shaved down blades before to put into my flyweight and you have to be really careful to not 'bulge' out the tapered portion down there. I think one reason I broke my 10-7 Fly at the taper part was because I had used a shaved down blade that probably wasn't shaved quite enough and it weakened the shaft. These days I'll only use R2s in my other Fly.
